About Alwafaa Bakery

Established in 1969, Al Wafaa Bakery was founded by Mr. Hasan Chaalan (Abou Afif). The small bakery provided a basic variety of breads. Chafic, Haidar, Taha, and Mohamad Chaalan joined their father’s business and opened a new branch in Kafaat area by adding contemporary ideas and products that were highly requested and valued by loyal customers.

Relying on their years of experience and the new operational and international ideas provided by the third generation of the Chaalan family, Al Wafaa Bakery, Tayouneh branch, was founded in 2015. This branch features a wide variety of breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, oriental and western sweets that are freshly baked everyday; in addition to the chocolate section that features well-known and exotic new flavors.

Al Wafaa Bakery attained the ISO 22000:2005 certification in 2017 by purchasing exclusively high quality ingredients to maintain high end products by following best practice food safety parameters.
